About the shop

A tiny shop, a long story.

Komorebi means sunlight filtering through leaves. We opened in a quiet Shimokitazawa side street to give well-made clothes a second run on screen.

Every piece is chosen by hand, cleaned, mended where needed, and measured before it reaches the rack. There is only ever one of each.

What we stand for

Picked one at a time for cut, fabric and character.

Buttons, seams and small tears fixed by hand in our back room.

Rooted in Shimokita, a neighbourhood of theatres, records and vintage.
